A Love for Music and the Human Voice

Tressa's journey as a voice therapist was inspired by her profound love for music. From early experiences on the stage and in the choir, she became captivated by the intricacies of the human voice.

It was through these experiences that she realized the voice is not just a physical tool; it's an external reflection of our inner state, embodying the profound connection between mind, body, and spirit.

Empowering Through Expertise

With a formal education and training as a Certified Speech-Language Pathologist, Tressa has honed her skills to become a compassionate clinician who specializes in the treatment of various voice and throat problems.

Her holistic approach to voice care, coupled with her deep appreciation for the unique artistry of the voice, sets her apart as a dedicated practitioner.

Collaborative Care

Tressa's approach is rooted in collaboration. As part of the Center for Vocal Health team, she works closely with Dr Gupta to understand the individual patient's voice concerns.

Together, they develop a treatment plan that is customized to the artist's needs. She enrolls her patients in their rehabilitation, empowering them to regain healthy, high-performing voices that truly express their authentic selves. Tressa understands that each voice is a work of art, a vessel for personal expression, and a means to impact the world through the magic of sound.

A Welcome Addition to Our Team

Tressa Cox's commitment to the vocal athlete and her holistic approach to voice care make her a remarkable addition to our team at the Center for Vocal Health.

We're excited to have her on board as we continue to serve and support individuals who rely on their voices as a powerful tool for their art and profession.
