Around August 2023, my voice had suddenly disappeared and I was unable to properly speak, let alone sing at all. A few months later in October, my ENT doctor told me that I had developed a cyst on one of my vocal cords, and told me that the only way to get rid of the cyst was either through surgery or more vocal rest and voice therapy. I decided to hold off on surgery and try vocal therapy for a few months. I worked with vocal therapist, Tressa Cox from the Center for Vocal Health.

Already on the first day, Tressa was able to figure out why my cyst had developed and came up with an effective vocal plan designed to help me get my voice back. Tressa even helped me correct bad habits I didn’t even know I had that were negatively affecting my voice. Only after four sessions with Tressa, the cyst started eventually shrinking and it is now gone! My voice is not only stronger now, but also much healthier! I highly recommend Tressa to anyone who is dealing with any vocal problems, and even in general for people who just would like to improve upon their voice.
