Vocal issues rarely occur between 9am and 5pm.
Vocal performers are usually working with a team and on a schedule, and doctor’s visits don’t fit in to that picture.
Performers are used to backstage butt shots and mediocre offsite care so they hesitate to call someone unless they can’t perform at all.
How did we make offsite voice exams be better?
We refuse to settle on bad care. We have assembled a mobile clinic, that contains all the technology that you can access in the office. Dr. Gupta has brought this mobile set up to countless cities, studios, home and backstage dressing rooms and provided care that is targeted to the actual issue. After doing a full evaluation, Dr. Gupta performs stroboscopy to determine the actual nature of the voice issue.
One size does not fit all for vocal health care.
Caring for vocal athletes means appreciating the individual needs of each performer. After getting the information from the exam, the stroboscopy and listening to the patient’s performance voice, Dr. Gupta has all the necessary treatments to help get a performer’s voice back.
