Vocal Sport: Singing
My experience with Dr. Gupta was unlike anything I could have imagined. Being a singer/songwriter at the very final stages of finishing up my EP and figuring out release dates, this surgery could not have come at a worse time. My first day at the office meeting Dr. Gupta, I was overcome with relief to see how comforting and reassuring she was. I felt safe and knew that my vocal chords were in great hands. After visiting many ENT’s prior to Dr. Gupta, this was the first time I had ever felt at ease, and knew that everything was going to be okay. Dr. Gupta worked with me, and allowed me to finish up the final touches on my EP before stepping into surgery. She helped make the experience less stressful, and allowed me to continue on my musical journey, while simultaneously preparing for surgery. Her comforting energy, her reassuring words, and her infectious smile made a scary situation seem nothing but a breeze.
The day of surgery I sat in the waiting room nervous as I waited for the nurses to bring me back. After changing into my gown and getting comfy in the hospital bed, it was apparent I was nervous. But in came Dr. Gupta with her high energy and positive attitude and I knew right away, I had NOTHING to worry about. This surgery is something that I had been dreading for three years, and I am thankful that I was able to overcome it with Dr. Gupta by my side. My family and I both will be forever grateful for her. She has been a true light in my journey thus far and I hope to keep her apart of it for the times to come. Thank you Dr. Gupta.
